About Us
Antonia Ehlers is an award-winning journalist, a member of the San Francisco/Peninsula Press Club Board and a reporter for Examiner.com. She currently works as the Communications Manager of Serra High School in San Mateo and is the editor of Traditions magazine. Traditions won first place for overall excellence at the 2010 San Francisco/Peninsula Press Club Awards Ceremony.

Antonia grew up on the Peninsula and has been a journalist for 20 years. During the past two decades, she has covered everything from hard news stories and crime to special features on health issues and celebrities. After graduating from Santa Clara University in 1990, she worked as a rookie reporter for The Burlingame/Hillsborough Boutique and Villager newspaper. She moved on to The Tracy Press as a crime reporter. Later assignments included working as an education reporter for The Pacifica Tribune and a health reporter for The Independent Newspaper Group. In 1995, Antonia became the editor of three Independent Newspaper Group newspapers - The Foster City Progress, The Burlingame/Hillsborough Boutique & Villager and The San Mateo Weekly. She loved her days in the newsroom because "no two days were ever alike."

Antonia has worked as a copy editor, a multicultural book editor and a freelance writer. She recently edited Fisherman's Wharf: A Historical Walking Tour for co-authors Stephen Baccari and Virginia Munoz.
